ABOUT US

ELA FOOTBALL

Our aim is to develop players, on and off the field, and help them transition from grassroots football to professional academies.

ELA Football was born in 2018 as Elite London Academy, the brainchild of Luisa Raimondo. A former football player, Luisa is passionate about the sport and was inspired to set up the club when both of her children started playing. Luisa realized that there was space in grassroot football for an environment where young players could develop not only on the field but also off it. ELA was then created with only two teams.

By the summer of 2019 great performances in various summer tournaments have made ELA Football a rapidly known name in grassroot football and brought more players to the club. The 2019 season saw ELA Football compete in various competitive London leagues with a team per year group (U8 to U14), a very rapid growth.

The club has ambitious plans for further expansion, whilst staying true to its core mission: the development of players.

ELA is more than a football club, it is an extended family, with its motto being: One team, one family.
